PETSCOPES

What Do the Stars Hold for Your Pet?
SPECIAL FOURTH OF JULY SCOPES!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CANCER!
The Cancer pet is nurturing, sensitive, and patient. You are people friendly and super affectionate, too. Loyalty to your family and pet pals is what you’re all about. Yep, you’ve got that protective nature thingy going on 24/7. The snag is, moody Moonchild animals can be oh-so snappy and secretive. Other touchy-feely water signs (Pisces and Scorpio) cling to you and your overall good nature.

CANCER (JUNE 22 – JULY 23)
Oh, dear sensitive one--you might be prone to a health glitch near mid-month. However, since you’re so in tune to your body, your humans will pick up your mega signs and fix your woes. By next month, you’ll be your sweet self and deal with Fourth of July chaos.

CAPRICORN (DEC. 22 – JAN. 20)
Get a move on Cappie animals because June is the month to team up with your humans or pet pals and get physical. Next month you might notice less pet toys or treats--but it’s only temporary so chill and follow your routine. PS: Stay clear of the noisy fireworks.

LEO (JULY 24 – AUG. 23)
Thanks to Mighty Mars (the energy planet) Lion pets might enjoy a summer getaway with someone special. Near the Full Moon on June 21, your life will slow down. Once July rolls around, stay clear of holiday human treats (especially you senior animals!).

AQUARIUS (JAN. 21 – FEB. 19)
By the first day of summer on June 21, you’ll be ready to go to a pet-friendly place. Hint: Make sure your caretakers know that you want to tag along. Next month, don’t be surprised or irked if you’re asked to stay home alone. Watch birds or Animal Planet.
VIRGO (AUG. 24 – SEPT. 23)
It’s the season to enjoy your no-nonsense self and do silly animal things, whether it be rolling in a sunny room or romping in the park. Eat well and stay fit because your daily regimens may be topsy-turvy around the Fourth and July’s Full Moon on the 21st.
PISCES (FEB. 20 – MAR. 20)
June is your month to kick back and savor playtime indoors or outdoors. Kids can be your ticket to fun, too. In July, get plenty of shuteye and eat well. Don’t let demanding humans frazzle your fragile nerves (see Aquarius). Psst! Hide on the Fourth of July.
LIBRA (SEPT. 24 – OCT. 23)
Okay peace-loving Librans, June is your month forego pesky squabbles and to focus on getting along with all animals and humans in your life. While we know you can be a social critter, you may want to curl up alone during July’s festivities and be cool and calm.
ARIES (MAR. 21 – APR. 20)
Around mid-month, you’ll take notice that it’s your job to bark, meow, or make some noise to get your point across to you-know-who. During July, you might get a job. After the Fourth (not a pet’s fave holiday) you’ll feel super energetic and enjoy this summer.
SCORPIO (OCT. 24 – NOV. 22)
Hey Scorpions, this June might make your human rethink a relationship. That means a new human or animal could enter your life. During July, your month will be full of activity, indoors and outdoors. Enjoy the Fourth because it should be eventful for you.
TAURUS (APR. 21 – MAY 21)
This summer isn’t the season to be stubborn (yes, you can be bullheaded!) and overdo outdoors. Take it easy throughout the month of June. Plus, in July heed caution, too. Be sure to wear your pet ID tag during any activities, and think before you leap or run.
SAGITTARIUS (NOV. 23 –DEC. 21)
The fast pace of June may leave you feeling beat Sag, but--the good news is, you’ll find your groove at the beach or in the yard amid late spring flowers. While your humans might go away on Fourth of July, just relax. Look forward to a pet event after mid-month.
GEMINI (MAY 22 – JUNE 21)
June is the month for you to enjoy the sports factor with your humans or fellow pets. Dogs compete, cats play, and other animals will interact more than usual. July brings creative pooch parties, animal clubs, and special Independence Day pet-related events.
