PETSCOPES

What Do the Stars Hold for Your Pet?
SPECIAL SUMMER, EARLY FALL SCOPES!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VIRGO!
Competitive, reserved, and smart. As an earth sign it’s not difficult for you to keep your paws on the ground, so to speak. Fellow animal friends and humans sense that you’re an apt pet, too. Virgo canines can be hard workers and Virgo felines can be persevering. The glitch is—Virgo (furry, feathery, and scaly critters) can be fussy and restless. If your toys or food isn’t in order, you’ll have a hissy fit. Other earthy signs (like Capricorn and Taurus) complement your steadfast nature.

(AUG. 24 – SEPT. 23)
Looking for an exciting person or animal friend this summer? Well, it might not happen this month. Play the shy pet you can be—let them come to you. Around the New Moon on September 3rd or during hectic back-to school days your super patience will be worth it.

PISCES (FEB. 20 – MAR. 20)
Sweet and sensitive Pi, do nurture yourself first before you give your attention to you know- who, especially before the Full Moon on August 19th. Blame it on mighty Mars next month, but you may be accident-prone. So indoor-outdoor animals— on your guard!

LIBRA (SEPT. 24 – OCT. 23)
This month may bring extra stressors (severe weather to visitors). Whatever you experience, it’s best for you to groom yourself (or have your humans do it!). If anxiety rears its ugly head in September, soothing herbal remedies can help you cope, Lib.

ARIES (MAR. 21 – APR. 20)
Uh-oh, this month spells health woes if you haven’t practiced that preventive health stuff your humans preach to you. When September rolls around, a special vet visit with alternative treatments such as acupuncture or massage may do Rams a world of good.
SCORPIO (OCT. 24 – NOV. 22)
Emotional/sensitive Scorpy might have to deal with chaos at home early in August. But before the Full Moon on the 19th, you’ll be able to feel laid back. In September you’ll find yourself at the groomer, a pet-friendly hotel/motel, or given to-die-for premium pet treats.
TAURUS (APR. 21 – MAY 21)
Bulls: don’t let Venus (the planet of emotions) get in your way this month and affect your stamina. This is the time to stay physical. Plus, next month you might find your regular routine turns topsy-turvy but if you’re in shape you can stay cool and calm.
SAGITTARIUS (NOV. 23 –DEC. 21)
Caution oh adventurous animals: If you tune out R&R this summer, you may find yourself at the vet. The word is, take it s-l-o-w and don’t overdo. Next month a trip to the animal behaviorist or pet groomer will make your spirit soar from head to paw or claw.
GEMINI (MAY 22 – JUNE 21)
While you might feel energetic up until the Full Moon on August 19, don’t overindulge in pet treats, overdo at the park or beach, and ignore getting shut-eye. You must keep up your strength because in the fall during weather changes you want to stay healthy, right?
CAPRICORN (DEC. 22 – JAN. 20)
Hey Cap, before mid month you’ll likely be able to enjoy some summer fun with your caretakers. After the New Moon on September 3rd you’ll feel like a new creature. Blame it on that dream or pet shrink. You’ll feel unleashed and able to deal with pesky problems.
CANCER (JUNE 22 - JULY 23)
Yep, Crabs—this is the month for you to cuddle up with your humans and pet pals or take a vacation for the thrill of it all. Enjoy, because in September your nesting instinct will hit fast and you’ll be homebound (but you like that). Your summer and fall are looking good.
AQUARIUS (JAN. 21 – FEB. 19)
This month you might be facing high anxiety like hot summer nights and distractions in your household. Stay physical for your sanity’s sake. By the New Moon on September 3rd you might be looking at late summer vacation or change of pace from the daily grind.
LEO (JULY 24 - AUG.23)
When August hits, do savor any distressing techniques your humans provide you—sun or fun. You deserve it. Now for you melodramatic Lions, you must keep your emotions on even keel in September. No matter what fall brings go with the flow and just chill out.
