PetFolio’s August/September 2006 magazine cover featured Laine Laux and Bella the mustang, a Horses for the Spirit photograph taken by photographer, Alex Lemus. This striking photo has been selected as the recipient of the Silver 2007 ADDY Award in the Elements of Advertising Color Photograph Category.
The ADDY® Awards, sponsored by the American Advertising Federation, are the largest and most representative competition of the advertising industry, recognizing the very best in creative excellence worldwide.
Alex has loved photography all his life. He received his first camera at the age of 10. As his talent grew, he attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and the Academy of Arts College in California. Alex has captured thousands of rare images. As we enter our 10th year of

publication, we are truly grateful for the outstanding community support we have
had in championing the cause of our animals. It is absolutely a great privilege
to interact with so many wonderful and dedicated animal fans.
We've always seen this area as
extremely pet friendly and enthusiastic about animals. Reader response has far

In this issue, we give you, our readers, overdue credit by showcasing your stories, your photos, and your remembrances as the entire content for our anniversary magazine. Thank you for your continued support - you give Animal Fanfare a whole new meaning!
