7th Annual
Art Paws in the Park

Was a Great Success!

and its Executive Editor and Publisher Landess Witmer, would like to thank you for joining us at the 7th Annual Art Paws in the Park sponsored by PetFolio on July 22 at the McKinley Arts & Cultural Center!

This was pawsitively a landmark year with a record number of participating vendors and 1,500 guests along with several hundred of their four-legged best friends in attendance, all of whom had a howling good time.

We've received incredibly pawsitive comments about everything from the great services and products displayed to the beautiful artwork and talented artists, the fun family and animal-oriented activities, to the perfect selection of music D.J. Dave was spinning!

Nothing is more entertaining than

Many Picasso's stopped by to make art at the infamous and oh-so-fun Paw Painting booth.
watching our beloved pups create art themselves at the oh-so "pawpular" Paw Painting booth. And, nothing is more gratifying than realizing that the very best in animal food, products, services, and artwork are right here in our own backyard.
More than 1,500 pet-loving people came to enjoy the many festivities the day brought.

New friendships were made as people met and mingled. Memories were made through beautiful artwork, sketches, and marble memorials. Communication was improved amongst owners and pets with the assistance of pet psychics. So many wonderful experiences in such a short amount of time!

The day's proceeds benefited the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Northern Nevada, chosen by you, our readers, in our Reader's Choice Vote as your local nonprofit of choice this year.

The 8th Annual Art Paws in the Park will return Sunday, July 20, so mark your calendar for a full day of fun with your fur friend! For details on attending or being a participating vendor in 2008, call Stacey at 775-722-6594, or mail us at PetFolio, P.O. Box 8997, Reno, NV 89507,
