Kodiak, a Most Loyal Companion

Being a model is hard work! Kodiak takes a snack break during the shoot.

He was born in June 1999 in Oregon. He was eight weeks old and from the moment we saw him we knew he would be coming home with us. From that moment on, we have loved this dog and he is “our furry child” as some like to say about their pets.

Kodiak is a most loyal companion. When we are sick and in bed, Kodiak is right there, never leaving our side. Kodiak always tries to please by following our commands (sit, stay, down, etc.) and will never knowingly disobey you. He will share your warmth and reflect your mood. He loves to nap with you. He loves playing with kids and other small dogs.

Isn't it nap time yet?

Kodiak is the best dog we have ever known. He was a very dear and loving companion to our older poodle Kutie. Every morning Kodiak would lick Kutie’s face and mouth, clean her teeth and eyes. As Kutie got older and then sick, Kodiak became her eyes and ears, and in his own gentle way would herd her to make sure she got outside to do her business. Kodiak still misses Kutie since she passed, they got along so well together.

Kodiak has been a very loyal and loving companion to both of us over these last almost nine years and he’s a wonderful member of our family.
